Primavera P6 is the facility to open and print a Gantt chart that can be viewed as a Microsoft xps file or a
pdf file.

Gantt Chart Print Setup

To begin, you can try to select a print to file option in the Print Setup dialog which can be accessed by
selecting File | Print Setup from the top drop down menu. From the list of installed printers, select Microsoft
XPS Document Writer or Adobe PDF. You may need an 11×17 paper size to correctly show both the activities view
and Gantt chart. This 11×17 paper size is available for both the Microsoft XPS Document Writer and Adobe PDF
file printers. For fitting both the activities view and Gantt chart on a single 11×17 sheet of paper, you must
set the Orientation to Landscape.

The next good step is to prepare the page setup options. Go to File | Page Setup in the main drop down menu.
You can now see your Page orientation and Paper size that you have already prepare to Landscape and 11×17,
respectively. You have to make sure to select the Fit timescale to toggle and check to see that it is set to 1

The available margins in the Margins tab can be arranged to your wanted settings, but only for our example leat
those all set to 0.5. You can also create headers based on your need in the Page Setup Header tab, but for our

top of the print out, arrange the header height by using the Height setting option in the top right hand side

must all be set as shown again in Figure 5. Now you are more than just ready to print to a file. Select File |
