On the Activities page, you can record suspended or resumed activity progress directly in the Activity Table or you can select an activity in the table and display its details.

Tip: From a Workspace portlet, you can click an activity name to display its details and suspend or resume progress.

Tip: You can report interrupted or restarted progress only for Task Dependent and Resource Dependent activities. When you indicate a suspend or resume date, work for the activity is considered to be suspended or resumed at the beginning of the specified day.

Report interrupted or restarted activity progress in the Activity Table

  1. If the Activity Table does not display the Suspend Date and Resume Date columns, click Customize Activity View on the Activities toolbar to customize your Activity View to display them.
  1. To specify a date, double-click in the appropriate column.
  2. When finished, click icon to save changes (Ctrl+S) to save your changes or click icon to cancel changes (Ctrl+Z) to cancel your edits.

  1. Select the activity in the Activity Table and, on the Activities toolbar, click icon representing activity details.
  2. If you are using the Activity Details tabs, click Status.
  3. If you are using the Activity Details form, expand the Status section, if necessary.
  4. If Status details do not appear, edit your preferences to add them.

Step 2: Report interrupted or restarted progress

  1. Click Edit dates and constraint.
  2. Specify the appropriate date: Suspend or Resume, then click Save.
