So, you have to learn the way to make homemade pancakes now. I am gonna tell you rightaway.

Before teaching you how to make homemade pancakes, I want to tell you the history of pancakes first. This is hilarious. Based on wikipedia, The Ancient Greeks made pancakes called τηγανίτης (tēganitēs), ταγηνίτης (tagēnitēs) or ταγηνίας (tagēnias), all words deriving from τάγηνον (tagēnon), “frying pan”. The earliest attested references on tagenias are in the works of the 5th century BC poets Cratinus and Magnes. Tagenites were made with wheat flour, olive oil, honey, and curdled milk, and were served for breakfast. Another kind of pancake was σταιτίτης (staititēs), from σταίτινος (staitinos), “of flour or dough of spelt”, derived from σταῖς (stais), “flour of spelt”. Athenaeus mentions, in his Deipnosophistae, staititas topped with honey, sesame, and cheese. The Middle English word Pancake appears in English in the 15th century. The Ancient Romans called their fried concoctions “alia dulcia,” which was Latin for “other sweets”. These were much different from what are known as pancakes today. Wow!

In Saudi Arabia, we simply call pancakes as Tamis. We eat it with “fool”. Here is the picture of Tamis and “Fool”. #LOL.

All of the original pancakes are using flour. The pancakes I am gonna teach you is the pancake without without flour. It’s healthy. It’s simple and easy to make. To make homemade pancakes without flour, you need Olive Oil, Banana and Eggs. The mix of the main materials will be 1 : 2. 1 ripe banana : 2 whole eggs. Mix them together in a bowl (make sure the banana is mashed). Add some olive oil on your pan on a low to medium heat. Scoop some of the batter into the pan & give it about a minute. Flip it then serve. The result will be as following picture.
